MARY CHIA, body – face – spa, is a beauty and slimming specialist centre founded 26 years ago in Singapore by none other than Mary Chia herself. Now MARY CHIA is like a household name in the beauty and spa industry with over 10 outlets in Singapore itself.

In June 2008, MARY CHIA started the first outlet in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur and in September 2008, its 2nd outlet at the prestigious Level 7 Heaven floor of Pavilion. Its 3rd outlet will be opening this coming December 2008 at the Tropicana City.

MARY CHIA’s story is fascinating as she started her career as a tailor, making wedding gowns and dinner wears. She then started providing beauty and slimming services for her clients.

Due to the good demand for her services, she decided to learn and study more about the beauty business. Her home-based business started to grow rapidly and she began to train more students to cater for the growth, with the help of her daughter. Together they grew the business to where it is today.

You may be wondering why Mary named her business after her name. Since she had to register a business name and being non-educated, she gave her name and now...MARY CHIA’s name is a “brand” by itself in the beauty line, ie “Rejuvenating one’s Inner Beauty through healthy and beautiful living.”
